Le Sette Vene is a traditional farmhouse, typical of the Tuscany / Umbria border area and recently restored. It is an ideal place for a large group, having 7 double bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a large farmhouse kitchen, and 2 smaller kitchens.
The farmhouse was restored as 3 apartments with inter-connecting doors, but especially in the high season, most of our rentals are of the whole house, where large groups have had very successful vacations.
The garden is surrounded by olive groves and from there, or from the first floor outside terrace, there are panoramic views down the Niccone valley and to wooded hills beyond.
The location is perfect. The house has its own drive from the road that goes between Tuoro (on the edge of Lake Trasimeno) and Mercatale di Cortona. less than 2km away. It's hidden from the road and private with magnificent views looking down on the Pierle and Niccone valleys (two castles in view) and backed by hills and distant mountains to the East. It is set in meadows, olive groves and woods. The 12x6m pool in the garden has a patio surround with lounging furniture; there is a barbecue and outside dining furniture.
Ground floor: The entrance leads into a good sized kitchen/dining room. and from the hall are a double bedroom with French windows to a small private garden (view of the castle of Pierle), and a large twin bedded room. There is a bathroom suitable for wheelchair users, (shower, basin, WC). A staircase leads up to the first floor.
First floor: This can also be accessed from the original external stone steps leading to a loggia, or new tiled steps at the other side of the building to the imposing terrace. There are 3 double bedrooms, 2 twin rooms, 2 bathrooms (each has bath, shower, WC, basin), the large farmhouse kitchen, and a smaller kitchen.
