Unfortunately our stay here comes to an end tomorrow. We must report that we have thoroughly enjoyed your beautiful casa and the surrounding Tuscan & Umbrian area.

This is one of the most amazing vacations I have ever had! Casa Jerika and Casa Lucati are absolutely magnificent! It was truly a magical place. The views are incredible. The charm of these hillside villas will be indescribable unless you come and experience it yourself! The ping pong tournaments were a hit in the evenings too. The dining room is beautiful! I take back home with me to my Florida beach house some wonderful decorating ideas. Thank you for opening your home to us.

This is our second visit to Casa Lucati. Our first was 2005. We were so amazed by our experience that our good friends scheduled a week here and invited us to join them.
It was such a joy to return here. Everything was as we found it before-and more.
It goes without saying that we are enchanted with everything about this lovely place from the architecture, the accommodations, its setting overlooking the valley, the landscaping, its seclusion and yet its accessibility to so many fascinating places, that we hope that some day we can bring our family, including our grandchildren back to your lovely home.

Casa Lucati is beautiful as is the view unbelievable.. We have loved our trips to neighbouring villages-Mercatale is full of charming people. It is hard to leave!
As you can see from the above comments, Casa Lucati was lovely and exceeded our expectations. (This is the sentence that got cut in half in the email I sent, but the rest follows on.)

Our stay at Casa Lucati was exceptional. Enjoyed the villa and beautiful grounds. There was plenty of room for everyone. Our granddaughter lived in the pool when possible. . I really appreciated the fully appointed kitchen in Casa Jerika and all the fresh herbs! Also enjoyed eating at Mimi’s and I Girasoli’s. Martin handled everything beautifully.
Our days were busy with trips to Cortona, Assisi, Gubbio, Orvieto, Montepulciano, and Castiglione del lago.
My favorite part of the day was watching the 6:30 am sunrise out our bedroom window. Listening to the tractor and sheep in the distance made the moment even more magical.

the accommodation was superb. The location, food, surroundings
and people were also very good which all made for a great holiday. The guide you have in the
villa proved very useful and we would comment that the food and
staff at the organic farm restaurant (a few km down the valley) was superb. Mimi's was also
superb. So good we went twice. I'm not sure I have eaten so much in one
sitting before and it's a shame we couldn't bring home a few barrels of
their lovely fruity home made white wine! The local bakers and butchers (in
particular the spit roast pork they supplied on one day!) was also superb.
I would also add that the people cleaning the pool and watering
the plants on the Wednesday were also very polite and did a good job.

and the home exceeded our expectations in almost every detail.

May I say…. That Casa Lucati was absolutely everything
we could hope for PLUS MORE!!!!! We had a wonderful time
– the only gripe being that we should have been there for
two weeks instead of just one!!! Am enclosing a view from
the bedroom window…….. a photographers paradise….
(I managed to take 1608 photos in 2 weeks). Have recommended yourselves
to many people. SG.
