Molinella

We very much liked Molinella - best choice in accomodation that we made for this holiday. Davide is an excellent host - he plied us with his white wine and even brought us some fresh cinghiale that he and his friends had taken two days before.

Just wanted to let you know that we loved Molinella. It was a perfect base
for us. David was very helpful and the people in Mercatale were very
hospitable. TVD

Molinella was terrific thank you. We loved it and enjoyed meeting David the owner. To wake up to the imposing Rocca di Pierle each morning was inspiring. The walks in the area excellent also. Loved the Italians, and those especially in Mercatale. Mimmi's also terrific. Should never have had seconds after the first course! AB

We just wanted to thank you for your assistance re our recent stay. the Errighis were very welcoming and the accommodation was just what we had been looking for in its location, and wonderful restful atmosphere. We were handy to many of the most beautiful hill towns as well as some of the larger areas we wanted to visit, but had the luxury of coming back to the quiet pool area and nearby restaurants. It was a great holiday.Thanks again.

During our property selection, Carol did express anxiety whether the restaurant would be a nuisance because of noise and cooking smells. Neither of these were a problem. The restaurant clients tended to arrive around 8pm and Gianna was always closing up by about 11pm. As I mentioned, we felt having such a lovely small reasonable restaurant adjacent was a positive advantage! We ate with Gianna every other night, and did not venture to any other restaurant! We felt the proximity to the village shops made it an unbeatable location.

Both my wife and I would like to let you know how much we enjoyed the week we spent in there at the end of June. We arrived to a very warm welcome, Gianna was a most gracious hostess. The time spent around the pool left me with a summer tan that has been the envy of my colleagues since my return. It was the perfect base for touring to the surrounding area. We had a wonderful time at there. The two bedroom apartment was very charming and well equipped and we were delighted with the style of the building. Gianna was very friendly and helpful too. We loved the stunning beauty of the area - a little wilder than where I had stayed before in Tuscany - and we enjoyed exploring lesser known Umbria. Please feel free to use me as a reference - I would rate the accommodations and area very highly and very good value and have no complaints whatsoever. We have returned safely to Australia after a 7 week trip around europe,Italy, first then Scotland,France,Holland and the UK.The Umbrian part of the trip was with out a doubt the most majical place .We loved the place so much that we have already made a commitment to return in about 2 years.Gianni and Dominico were lovelly and looked after us very well. Peschino

I felt I really should drop you a line to let you know we all had a
wonderful holiday at Peschino. The villa itself was full of rustic charm,
was beautifully clean and well equipped and situate on a beautiful Tuscan
hillside with breathtaking views in all directions. The pool was one of the
best I have seen and was in constant use by the children and the adults
throughout our stay. The owners kindly rang twice to check all was well and
offered advice on the locality.
I have, and will heartily recommend the villa and you to my friends and
colleagues! SD.

We all had a really wonderful, relaxing holiday and the villa and pool
were lovely. We loved the location and the sunflowers were spectacular - the
memory of the views out of the kitchen window and from the bench at the
top of the garden will stay with me for a long time. RM, 2004.

Ca' Spadolino

What a wonderful holiday we had in Italy/Spello/Surrounds .... We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in our Villa in Spello; perfect for exploring the interesting hillside villages dotted around there. Loved staying in the village as somehow it made us feel closer to experiencing life in Italy (well in a little village anyway!!) The
'locals' were very friendly; language no barrier really as we managed to understand each other with a lot of laughter and sign language thrown in! The rooftop we spent many hours just relaxing and with daylight saving we managed to enjoy the gorgeous scenery until around 10pm. So peaceful. We were pleasantly surprised also with the facility of a computer - made it so easy for us to catch people up on our travels in
comfortable surroundings with a wine by our side -- not usually manageable in an Internet Cafe!! GF, 2004

Ca' Spadolino was very pleasant and comfortable. The woman we dealt with in the office (Viola?) was very accomodating and kindly brought us a load of firewood when we enquired.

Ca' Spadolino was wonderful, full of character and offered us everything we needed. We are used to tiny kitchens in apartments in Rome and actually we could work side by side in this one rather than one standing behind the other as we've had to do occasionally! Its all fun and games and we wined and dined wonderfully whether in local restaurants or in Casa Spadolino!

Just thought I should let you know how much we enjoyed our stay at Ca' Spadolino. What a delight a week wasn't long enough. Loved your decor and the house was very comfortable. The view from the rooftop terrace was exqusite and we sat up there every evening just watching the lush green scene below. Everyone in town was friendly and left with new friends.

We have returned from our vacation in Europe, and wanted to write and tell you how much we enjoyed staying at the apartment. From the moment we arrived we were charmed and delighted with not only the accommodations, but the view, the amenities of the apartment and the friendliness of the people. C. is a delight and a real asset to your business. She was most professional and helpful whenever we had a question. And the computer with internet was a huge bonus. Thank you for that!
We will be recommending Ca Spadolino to friends, and hope to return again sometime soon. We found it was an excellent spot for day-tripping to the beautiful areas of Umbria. And although we had feared some problem with the parking, it turned out to be quite manageable. MS

Just to let you know we had a wonderful time at Somavilla - and to thank you
for steering us to that choice. You are right - the picture doesn't do it
justice - it's a really lovely house in a stunning location, and having so
much space was just great for a 3-generation holiday. Talk about a pool with
a view!! Christina takes so much trouble to make you feel at home - it makes

I want to tell you that we had a fabulous time at Sommavilla in September and it far exceeded our expectations!!! The accommodations were excellent, the view was exceptional and above all, our hosts, Christine and Alfredo were so kind and gracious. We intend to stay there again and have recommended it highly to our friends. It was a welcome respite from our hectic lives and both of us felt very relaxed while we were there. Italy is a great country filled with such beauty, amazing history, delicious food and wonderful people. It had been 37 years since my previous trip to Italy and the next trip will be much sooner!!! Teverina Bassa

Just wanted to tell you that we had a wonderful time at Teverina Bassa. It was just what we needed -- seclusion and quiet and beautiful surroundings. I would highly recommend the area -- the only problem is that the Cortona hill makes biking a challenge. We made it up once with our own power, and then opted for the scooter the rest of the trip.

We have just returned from one unforgettable week at Teverina Bassa. Our accommodations were in the delightful "Casa Fabbri" house on Signor Luigi Suardi's farm. Words cannot describe the beauty of surrounding area. Each sunny morning we awoke to the splendour of the hills and farm fields.
The Suardi family went out of their way to make us feel at home, providing us with anything necessary, including much touring information, compliments of Paulo. Elisa was at our disposal when needed, and also was ready to fetch fresh eggs for us from their chickens.
Casa Fabri itself was a charming, very clean house, with all the amenities. I must admit we were pleased to have our own washing machine and clothes line, which got plenty of usage. Having two full bathrooms was a real asset, as there were four of us.
Two highlights of our stay , included the opportunity to visit Cortona, and our favourite, Citta de Castello( a lovely old city not far from Teverina Bassa.)
It was a place of peace, quiet and contentment, but also offered much more.
