A really memorable week in a lovely home, can’t claim to have done much other than lounge by the pool and read. We are back in South Africa after a wonderful stay in Cortona and Tuscany. We enjoyed Cortona tremendously and walked all the little streets and steps. We even found Villa di Bramasole of the famous "Under the Tuscan Sun". Our appartment was excellent! It was wonderful to just walk out from the front door into Via Nazionale. The appartment is very well equipped and spacious and neat at an excellent price - real value for money!! We hope to visit Cortona again in the future and will definately contact you again.
Just wanted to say the apartment in Cortona was fantastic. Beautifully furnished and so centrally located. New Years eve in the town square was the best I have had, and my son enjoyed the experience of letting off fireworks, something which is banned in Australia.
I could not imagine a better location in Tuscany, although I did make a flying visit to Spello where I stayed last time. PR
I just wanted to thank you for leading us to the apartment in Cortona. It was absolutely wonderful and we enjoyed our stay there tremendously!

Mirko and his family have made us most welcome at Casa Primula. The house is well-euipped. Set up in the hills, the house provides a "proprieta privata" with its own swimming pool and beautiful views over the ruined castle of Pierle and the surrounding valleys........Lounging by the pool or in the garden round the house, there is always sun and invariably a slight breeze to take away the intense heat.

We've thoroughly enjoyed our time here in the Umbria/Tuscany hills. The file on local restaurants and villages was very helpful......The girls have loved the pool and we have discovered the woods and the houses up and beyond our house. We loved being here and hope to come back.

It was a delightful week with near perfect weather.
Casa Primula was lovely and had everything we needed. We used the outside wood oven to create our own pizza's and focaccia bread which went down a storm! And Mirko and his brother made a fantastic meal on our final night. All-in-all, a great success.
We enjoyed our stay very much - a wonderful setting and a spacious house.
We enjoyed the pool and that lovely outdoor grill, played pool and tennis... Kept us active in between lots of eating! I am now a convert to Umbria, it is beautiful and we plan to return. We also met F. the son of the owner who was absolutely charming, and M. most kind and helpful.
I am sure we will be in touch with Gorgacce Rentals again. SN, 2010
We certainly did enjoy the house and pool and managed to play a bit of tennis in the evening which was good fun. A lovely part of the country which I plan to return to one of these days... Everyone very helpful and friendly.

We had a lovely holiday and were really pleased with the house and pool area especially.We had expected to travel out every day but ended up staying put most days.

We wanted to send you a note to let you know how utterly charmed we were with Tuscany/Umbria and with our little “villa”, Casa Trabalza. Our week in Tuscany was the favourite part of our trip. The house was beautiful and comfortable and the views spectacular. It’s hard to beat having morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening while looking at a castle in ruins framed by olive trees and vineyards. (We had perfect weather!) After the high energy of Rome, the quiet and friendly feeling of Mercatale were most welcome.

Our only regret is that we don’t know much Italian so we couldn’t communicate much with them. When we return (we do hope to) we will be a bit more fluent, we hope!

Villa Vitellino was exquisite !
We fell in love with it the moment we arrived. The home was beautifully furnished, and the grounds like paradise.
The weather was gorgeous - clear skies and the views of the Lake and Castigleone del Lago were spectacular.
Lea , Luigi and Elio, they were most friendly and helpful.
Our only regret is that we didn't stay another week.

We really enjoyed our holiday in Italy. Villa Forconi was absolutely superb, we could not fault it in any way. We were told by you that the villa will be of very high standard and that was, indeed, the case, it was beyond our expectations. The consequence was, however, that we found it difficult to leave the villa and the poolside for visits to the surrounding towns/villages etc. We did venture to Cortona and to the market in Castigliano and to the wine-tasting evening that you organised for visitors, all of which activities we enjoyed very much! We envy the fact that your family is based in such a beautiful area of Italy and are determined to return for another holiday in the not too distant a future date. MLS, 201

Did we enjoy staying at the villa Forconi? We most certainly did and all the party agreed it was the best villa we had ever stayed at! Beautiful secluded location, wonderfully equipped kitchen, spacious bedrooms, excellent pool, I could go on. We would look forward to staying there again sometime.

We had a wonderful holiday. The villa was really lovely and ideal for 3 couples as we all had our own space. The views were quite fantastic, especially first thing in the morning and at twilight!

We've now returned from a fantastic week at La Scuderia and I'm reluctant to say too much for fear of the place becoming discovered. We found the accommodation comfortable and well appointed and the private and well maintained pool was excellent.

This is a fabulous place and we were delighted with the location and general layout of the house, the quietness and unspoiled countryside. We were enthralled by the early morning grunts of the cinghiale, the daytime racket of the crickets, the evening visit of the rondine and the nocturnal flights of the owls. PT, 2011

I thought I would let you know, on behalf of all the family, how much we enjoyed
staying at the house.
The setting was quite spectacular and we spent many hours looking at the
views.The wild flowers around the house and the lovely garden made it a wonderful
outdoors environment. From the garden we could see wild boar with lots of tiny babies, deer and many
birds and butterflies.
The house was very spacious, comfortable and well equipped .we love cooking so
that went down well.

place.It has given us many good memories and maybe we will go back in
